Ability to Update Pricing from QuickBooks

Learn how to update non-inventory item pricing in ServiceBox by importing the latest pricing from QuickBooks Online.

ServiceBox Introduces the Ability to Update Pricing from QuickBooks

ServiceBox, a leading provider of software solutions for service-based businesses, has introduced a new feature that enables users to update pricing from QuickBooks Online.

This article demonstrates the process of updating the pricing for a non-inventory item using the example of the "Apprentice" item.

We start by checking the current unit cost for the Apprentice item in ServiceBox, which was $71. Next, we navigated to QuickBooks and updated the unit price of the Apprentice item from $71 to $90, then saved the changes.

After that, we accessed the import button in the QuickBooks Online settings within ServiceBox and selected the items for which we wanted to update pricing. We checked off the Apprentice item, selected the appropriate label, and clicked "Set." Finally, we clicked "OK" and waited for the import to complete.

As the import progressed, we refreshed the item screen in ServiceBox to confirm that the pricing had been updated. As expected, the price had successfully changed to reflect the latest pricing from QuickBooks Online.

In summary, ServiceBox's new feature allows users to update pricing from QuickBooks, providing a more streamlined and efficient experience for service-based businesses..
