Applying Rates for Individual Users
How to show individual technician labor items on invoices instead of grouping all time as a single item
Unless configured otherwise, ServiceBox uses a default labor item when time is transferred from a Work Order to the Invoice. You can check the default labor item by going to Settings > Invoices > Invoice Settings. There, you'll see dropdowns for Default Labour Item and Default Overtime Item.
We also allow individual users to create their own labor items. For example, if you want one user billed under the labor item 'Journeyman' and another under 'Apprentice', you can set a custom labor item for each technician in Settings > Users > (Select User).
Within the user profile, there's a dropdown for Regular Labour. One of the options is 'Default,' which uses the company-wide value from the Invoice Settings. However, you can also choose a specific labor rate for that user.
If you want to display different labor items per user on the invoice, create labor items such as 'Labour – [Tech Name]' and assign them to the corresponding users.
