Expanded Attachment Functionality Now Available Across All Key Areas in ServiceBox
Summary
We have made significant improvements to the Attachments tab in ServiceBox. These enhancements build on existing functionality and introduce new capabilities that give users greater control and visibility over attachments across the system. One major addition is the ability to view related items directly within the Attachments tab, depending on user role and permissions.
What are Attachments?
In ServiceBox, an attachment refers to an image, document, or other file (including videos and links) that is associated with a specific entity—such as a Customer, Job Site, Quote, Work Order, Invoice, or Unit. Attachments may include PDFs, shared Dropbox folders, or even URLs. For certain areas (like Quotes, Work Orders, and Invoices), attachments can also be included in the customer-facing PDF.
