Checklists Tab - Settings Configuration
Create and customize Checklists and signature settings for Work Orders in ServiceBox.
Summary
This article summarizes the features available in the Checklists Tab of your ServiceBox settings.
Checklists Tab: Checklists
This section allows you to manage everything related to checklists. You can build and attach checklists to Work Orders, and it’s in this tab where those checklists are created.
Click Add List to start building a new checklist.
Clicking "Add List" will take you to a new screen where you can configure the checklist:

Type: Select whether the checklist relates to a Job Site or a Unit.

Name: Enter a label for your checklist.

Options: Choose whether the checklist must be completed before closing the Work Order and whether it requires customer and/or employee signatures.
In the grey section below, you will build your list by adding questions one at a time.
For each checklist item, choose a Type from the dropdown menu:

Check Box – Displays a checkbox for yes/no completion.

Single Line Text – Allows a short written answer.

Multi-Line Text – Allows a longer written answer.

Dropdown – Provides a dropdown menu where only one option can be selected.

Multi-Select – Provides a dropdown menu where multiple options can be selected.

Group Title – Displays a title or section header; not an interactive field.
Checklists Tab: Signatures
This section manages Customer and Employee Signatures as well as optional static messages that appear alongside them.
An example is shown in the screenshot below.
Available fields and their descriptions:
- Message for Customer:
This message will appear when the customer is prompted to enter their signature. It will also display on printed Work Orders. - Allow for Employee Signature:
Check this box to enable employees to add their signature to the Work Order. - Message for Employee:
This message will be shown to employees when signing a Work Order and will also be visible on printed versions.
