Day Before Notification Enhancement Feature
This article explains how to set a preferred time range for receiving notifications in ServiceBox, so you’re not disturbed outside your work hours.
Tired of receiving notifications in the middle of the night?
If so, you'll be pleased to hear that a new notification enhancement feature has been added to the system. In this article, we'll explain what this feature is, how it works, and how you can use it to your advantage.
The aim of this feature is to prevent notifications from being sent at inappropriate or unwanted times. The system now allows customers to set the earliest and latest times that notifications can be sent out. If the system detects that it’s outside the set time window, it will hold notifications until the appropriate time.
How to Set Your Notification Timing Window
-
Click on your username in the top right corner of the screen
-
Go to the Settings tab
-
Navigate to the Work Order tab
-
Click on the Day Before Setup tab
-
You’ll see two settings:
-
Do not send before
-
Do not send after
-
-
Select your preferred start and end times for notifications
Example
If you set your time window from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the system will only send notifications during that period. If you create a work order or schedule a technician after 6:00 PM, the system will delay the notification until the next morning when your time window opens.
By setting your desired time window, you can make sure notifications only arrive during your preferred hours—no more being woken up by emails or losing alerts in the middle of the night.
