Enhanced Work Order List Screen in ServiceBox

Understanding Basic Filter Criteria

The basic filter criteria in ServiceBox allow you to define your preferred display options. In the Settings tab, under Work Order Settings, you can access List Settings to specify which fields appear in the Work Order List.

To access the Work Order List screen, navigate to Work Order.

Note: You can also access this screen from other locations, including Job Site, Customer, or Recurring Work sections.

 

Access the Work Order List Settings Screen

  1. Log in to your ServiceBox account

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Click on the Work Order tab

  4. Click on List Settings


 

In the List Settings, you will find the display fields that can be included in your Work Order List. These fields allow you to customize the information shown in the list view.

 

Customizing Custom Fields for the Work Order List

In addition to the default fields, users can also use custom fields to enhance the Work Order List. Custom fields can be tailored to meet specific business needs. Once defined, you can choose whether to display these fields on the Work Order List screen.

To show a custom field in the Work Order List:

  • Go to Settings

  • Click on the Work Order tab

  • Click on Custom Fields

  • Click the Edit button beside the name of the field you'd like to display

 

 

  • Check the box labeled "Show On Work Order List" 

 

  • You will see the custom fields displayed on the Work Order List screen as shown below

 

Sorting and Filtering Work Orders

The enhanced Work Order List screen includes sorting and filtering tools to help you organize work orders more easily.

By clicking the arrow icon beside a column header, you can sort the list in ascending or descending order based on that field.

Examples of sortable fields include:

  • Work Order creation date

  • Status date

  • Work Order date

  • Customer name

  • Next scheduled date

Simply click the arrow to apply the desired sorting.

 

Advanced Local Search

ServiceBox now offers an improved local search feature within the Work Order List screen. Use the search bar to filter work orders based on specific criteria such as:

  • Customer’s first name

  • Work Order number

  • Job Site

  • Location

By entering keywords, you can quickly locate work orders that match your criteria.
