# Features of ServiceBox - Getting Started
## Explore all the features and modules available in ServiceBox to support your service business.
### ServiceBox Features
An Electronic/Paperless-if-you-want, Mobile, Work Order and Scheduling software with the following feature & components:
#### **Work Orders**
- Job Info: client, jobsite, job description/Scope of Work
- "Check in" and "Check Out" of employee while on job.
- Employee time entry, manual or automatic from above
- Automated Work Order Status setting via Check-In and Check-Out, if desired.
- Materials used on job tracking - Non-Inventory
- Utilize Inventory Items on a job if you keep an inventory
- Keep track of maintenance items for a job site or a unit
- Purchase Order tracking for job - Auto generate purchase orders or manual entry
- Job Costing, with or without a Quote for the job

#### **Employee Management**
- Configuratble Security Levels - to Access areas of ServiceBox only needed to be accessed by each User
- GPS Tracking based on employee usage
- Check-In and Check-out Location capture in the Work Order
- Their current location on a map that is next-to-a-live location
- Enforcement of "Checking In/Out" on one Work Order at a time, if wanted/needed, before starting work via another Work Order.
- Enforcement of Attaching a minimum number of photo's to the Work Order before allowing Work Order to be closed.
- Enforcement of obtaining customer signature and/or employee signature to close Work Order.
- Enforcement of completing Checklist/Report attached to Work Order.
- Enforcement of collection/completing Custom Field cell data to close Work Order.
- In and out Board (Like an office White Board for office IN/OUT status)
- Define employee cost for time charged that is used in job costing
#### **Quotes**
- Create and price a job, then send to customer
- Signatures & Attachments
- Created Pricebook pricing on Quotes
- Show / Hide price breakdown of Quote on print out sent to customer
- Discounts
- Ability to duplicate a quote for new leads/clients of often written quotes
- Quote templates that will pre populate new quotes with default pricing
- Email Quotes to Customer
- Material items on Quote automatically show up on Work Orders for verification
#### **Invoices**
- Produce Invoices from Quotes or for Time & Material work
- One-off Invoices or progressive billing
- Enter payments for Invoices, from the office or in the field
- Manage invoice status for company efficiency
- Add Work Order notes and signatures to final invoice
- When connected to accounting, can import customers, job sites, invoices and payments to accounting

- auto link up with QuickBooks Desktop or Online Payroll.
