Finding Missing Quotes - FAQ
If quotes aren’t appearing in your list, they may have been auto-expired. You can find them under the "Expired" tab, and adjust the auto-expiration timing in your Quote Status settings.
If quotes are not displayed in your list, it may be because they have been automatically marked as expired due to a system setting.
Viewing Expired Quotes
To check for expired quotes:
-
Go to the Quotes section in ServiceBox.
-
Click the "Expired" link at the top of the list to view all quotes that have been moved into the expired status.
The setting for when quotes automatically expire is in the settings screen as seen below:
How Quotes Become Expired
Quotes automatically move to the expired list based on a setting called "Expire After Months."
You can find this setting here:
-
Settings > Quotes > Settings > Quote Statuses
Each status in the list may have an “Expire After Months” field. If this field is filled in with a number (e.g. 1, 6, or 12), quotes in that status will be moved to Expired after that many months.
Adjusting the Setting
To prevent quotes from automatically expiring:
-
Set the “Expire After Months” field to blank for the relevant statuses.
-
This will keep the quotes in their current status and prevent them from disappearing from your regular list.
