First Steps of ServiceBox Setup
First off, we are happy to have you onboard with us here at ServiceBox, thank you for deciding to join our family!
- Sign up for a plan at https://www.getservicebox.com/demo/form. You need to create a subdomain so you will be able to navigate to ServiceBox for your company. An example could be yourcompany.jobboxsoft.com. So your subdomain would be "yourcompany".
- We can import your customers from accounting (QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, or Sage50 Canada)
- Please review to make sure that QuickBooks Desktop is set up correctly if you are using that accounting solution: QuickBooks Desktop - Integration with ServiceBox - Accounting Requirements and Setup
- Please email us an item list, in Excel or .CVS file format, and we will import it into the site that you create. We need the item description, cost and the markup for the items. Email to "support@getservicebox.com".
- A company logo so we can add it for all reporting.
- A list of statuses that can be used for Work Orders workflow (ie Scheduled, Started/Ongoing, Closed, Invoiced).
- Categories to be used for customers (ie Sales Lead, Residential, Commercial, Maintenance Contract, etc)
- Categories to be used for Work Orders (Service Work, Installation Work, Contracted Maintenance Work, Reno, etc.).
- A copy of an existing invoice, in .PDF or image would be best.
- A copy of an existing quote, in .PDF or image would be best.
- A copy of an existing work order, in .PDF or image would be best.
