How do Techs modify a Unit/piece of Equipment on a Work Order

Follow these steps to modify or delete a Unit linked to a Job Site from the Work Order screen.

This article outlines how to edit or delete a piece of equipment (referred to as a "Unit" in ServiceBox) directly from within a work order.

 

Steps to Edit or Delete a Unit:

  1. Open the Work Order
    Navigate to the top tab of the work order and tap on “View Job Site” in blue under the Job Site heading.

  2. Access Job Site Details
    In the window that opens, tap on “Details” in blue.

  3. Open Job Site Information
    The Job Site Information window will now appear.

  4. Select the Equipment Tab
    Tap on the “Equipment” tab to view the list of Units linked to this Job Site.

  5. Choose a Unit
    From the list, tap on the Unit you want to modify or delete.

  6. Edit the Unit
    At the top of the Unit window, tap the pen and paper icon to edit the equipment details.

  7. Delete the Unit (Optional)
    Scroll to the bottom of the window and tap the red “Delete Equipment” button if you want to remove the Unit entirely.

  8. Save Your Changes
    After editing, be sure to tap Save to apply your updates.
