How to create a workorder on the mobile app - User Guide

Create a new work order for a customer using the ServiceBox mobile app.

Creating a Work Order from the App

  • Click the “+” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and select Workorder.

  • In the Bill To field, enter the customer's name.
    • If the customer does not already exist, click the Add button to create a new one.
  • Select the Jobsite or click Add to create a new job site for the customer.

 

  • Choose the Assigned To user who will be responsible for completing the work.

 

  • Select a Workorder Category to define the type of work being done.

  • Enter a Description of the work, then click OK.

 

  • Click the Notes tab to view related information, including:
    • Jobsite notes

    • Workorder notes

    • Customer details

    • Previous work notes

 

  • Click the Add Checklist button to add a checklist, if required for this job.

 

  • Select the Schedule button to assign a technician and schedule the work order.
