How to Check if an App Has Permission for Location Services on Android

  1. Open the Settings app on your Android device.

  2. Scroll down and select Apps & notifications.

  3. Scroll to find the app for which you want to check location permissions and tap it.

  4. On the app's info screen, select Permissions.

  5. Find the Location permission and check if it is turned on.

    • If it’s turned off, toggle it on to grant the app permission to access your device’s location.

    • To customize the location access, tap Location again and choose from:

      • Allow all the time

      • Allow only while using the app

      • Deny

 

How to Check if an App Has Permission for Location Services on iPhone

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

  2. Scroll down and tap the app for which you want to check location permissions.

  3. Tap Location.

  4. Check the selected option:

    • While Using the App – allows access only while the app is open.

    • Always – grants access at all times.

    • Never – completely restricts access.
