Improved Work Order List Experience: Scroller Position Restoration
This article outlines a new feature that remembers your place on the work order list when navigating between pages.
Summary
In this article we're introducing some new changes coming to ServiceBox's work order list screen. The primary enhancement centers around the system's ability to remember the last open scroller position. In other words, when navigating through work orders and categories the scroller position on the work order list will stay fixed at its last position. When you jump back to the list page you won't have to scroll down all over again and find your place.
Understanding Scroller Position Restoration: How it Works
Suppose your current scroller position is halfway through the work order list. If you open a specific work order and then return to the list, the scroller position will remain unchanged, exactly where you left it.
Similarly, opening work orders from various categories and then navigating back will keep the scroller position stable, allowing you to pick up right where you left off.
If you have the right setting checked off ('Show Status Filters on lists as Links' in "My Preferences") you will also be returned to the same status option as before when you re-access the main work order page.
The same convenience applies for any filter options. If you open a work order of any specific status and then return to the list, the scroller position will remain unchanged, exactly where you left it.
Just remember, if you click on "All Statuses" it will cause a refresh and take you back to the top of the list.
