Job Costing Work Orders
This article explains how to enable and use the Job Costing feature to compare actual costs to quoted amounts within a work order.
Summary
This document details how ServiceBox now allows you to perform Job Costing within work orders. Job costing lets you compare actual amounts for a job versus the quoted amounts. You can now enter fixed labor costs per user, which are used to calculate labor costs in the Job Costing report. A new Job Costing button inside the work order allows you to generate an Excel spreadsheet with all job costing data.

Click on Users from the dropdown in the top-right of your ServiceBox screen
-
Open an individual user’s profile
-
You’ll see a section to:
-

-
This cost is used in job costing calculations for labor in work orders.
