Merging Multiple Quotes or Work Orders - FAQ

ServiceBox doesn't currently support merging Quotes or Work Orders, but users can use the “Copy Quote” and “Copy Work Order” features as a workaround by requesting access from support.

Merging Quotes or Work Orders in ServiceBox

ServiceBox does not currently support direct merging of quotes or work orders. However, some customers use the "Copy Quote" and "Copy Work Order" features to replicate and adjust information as needed. These features must be enabled by a ServiceBox agent through the secure site. If you'd like to use them, contact support@jobboxsoft.com.

Merging Quotes

Option 1: For the Same Customer

  • Navigate to the quote you'd like to copy.

  • Click on "Copy Quote" to create a new quote with the same information.

  • Add any additional items or updates as needed.

Option 2: For a Different Customer

  • Navigate to the quote.

  • Click "Copy Quote" to create a duplicate.

  • Change the customer information on the new quote and make any required edits.

Option 3: Manual Copy

  • Copy and paste the content from one quote into a new quote manually.

  • After confirming all necessary details are moved, delete the original quote if no longer needed.

Merging Work Orders

To replicate work orders:

  • Open the work order you want to duplicate.

  • Click the "Copy" button.

If work orders are tied to a quote, changing the parent customer in the quote will automatically update the parent customer on the work order as well.
