Meaning of Paysafe Merchant Account Application Statuses
Please find below a breakdown of all the statuses and what they mean.
Disabled/Suspended: The merchant or the partner requests that the account be suspended until further notice to avoid account dormancy.
Disabled/Terminated: The account is closed.
Enabled – The account is active and ready to process.
Rejected In Compliance: This status occurs when there’s an error in the system, which the credit underwriting team will manually fix.
Rejected In Risk: The credit underwriting department rejected the application. The partner will need to contact their account manager for more information since this is a case-by-case situation.
Returned From Risk: The credit underwriting department needs more information/documents. The merchant will receive an email detailing what is needed. ** We use the email address the merchant provides during the application.
Withdrawn: The merchant didn’t proceed with the application.
