Fixing a Broken Shortcut to the ServiceBox Accounting Connector

If the shortcut to your ServiceBox Accounting Connector appears grayed out or displays an error that it is no longer linked, it’s likely the file path has changed or the shortcut became disconnected. You can resolve this by manually locating the program and restoring the shortcut.

Steps to Restore the Shortcut:

  • Right-click on the grayed-out ServiceBox Connector icon.

  • Select "Open file location" or "Properties", depending on the prompt.

  • You should see a message stating that the program is no longer in the original location.

  • Click "Find Program" or "Browse".

  • Navigate to the folder where the ServiceBox Connector is installed.

  • Double-click on the ServiceBox Connector executable file.

  • This will re-create or refresh the shortcut on your desktop.

After completing these steps, your shortcut should now launch the connector as expected.
