Quote Icons - Getting Started

This article introduces new ServiceBox users to the main features and tools available when working with quotes, including quote details, pricing, notes, To Dos, attachments, and email or print options.

Summary

This document will explain the main features for using Quotes in ServiceBox.  Provide this info to your Basic Users to get them up and going.  

Once the quote details have been entered and the quote number has been assigned, the following icons are available in the quote.

Icons

 

 

Details

  • Main page for Quotes
  • Enter in details for customer (Bill To) and job location.
  • Set Status.
  • Enter Description and all other details for the quote.

 

 

Pricing

  • Enter pricing for the quote based on categories available
  • Job Costing is available at the bottom of all categories

 

 

Internal Notes

  • Create notes that customers that will not see in any reports.  This is meant to be for internal notes between all users.

 

 

To Dos

  • Create To Dos that are related to the Quote

 

 

Attachments

  • Add attachments to the Quotes.  Add Pictures, Documents, etc.

  • Add links to Dropbox files to the Quote.

 

 

Email Quote

  • Email the Quote as a PDF.

  • Default values are configured in Settings.

  • Add attachments and email.

  • Set what is emailed in the PDF.

Print

  • Print Quote as a PDF with selected sections to display.
