Resetting Passwords

Resetting Your Password

To reset your password, click the "I forgot my password!" link located at the bottom of the login page (in blue print).
A window like the one below will appear.

Enter your user email address and click "Submit." A temporary password will be sent to your email.
Make sure to change this password as soon as possible to something that is both secure and easy to remember.

Resetting Another User’s Password

Administrators can reset a user's password by following these steps:

  1. Click the "Users" menu under your user ID in the top-right corner.

  2. Select the user whose password needs to be reset.

  3. Click the "Reset Password" button at the bottom of the page.

A window will appear. Delete the existing dots (masked characters), enter a new password, and re-enter it in the "Password Check" field. Then click "OK."

Account Locked Out

If a user has tried logging in too many times with the wrong credentials, their status may change to "Locked Out."
This can only be resolved by an Administrator:

  • Navigate to the Users platform area.

  • Find the locked-out user and manually "Unlock" their account.

If the user is still unable to log in, it's likely they no longer remember their password. Resetting their password is the quickest way to restore access to ServiceBox.
