Use Employee Groups in ServiceBox to Streamline Scheduling and Workforce Management
Introduction
Enabling User Groups
Before creating or scheduling with user groups, the feature must be activated.
To enable the User/Employee Groups feature:

Use the Feedback button on your ServiceBox site

Or email support@jobboxsoft.com
Once activated by the ServiceBox team, you’ll be able to define and assign groups to suit your organization’s needs.
Setting Up User Groups
To create user groups:

Navigate to Settings under your login name.

Click the Tenant tab.

Select the User Group link within the Settings page.

Define your company’s groups based on roles, departments, or teams.
Assigning Users to Groups
After defining your groups, assign your employees to them:
- Go to Users from the menu under your login name.
- Click on a user from the list and scroll to the bottom of the page.
- In the new information box, select the user group(s) to which you want to assign the user.
Repeat this process for all users in your company, placing them in the appropriate groups as needed.
Scheduling with User Groups:
With user groups established, you can efficiently schedule employees using the following methods:
On a Work Order:

Navigate to the Schedule tab on a Work Order.

Select the User Group from the drop-down.

Enter the start and end times.

Click the green checkmark to schedule all users in that group.
On the Scheduler (Dispatch or Normal Board):

Select a User Group in the lower left-hand filter menu.

Drag and drop the Work Order into the All Day area or a specific time slot.

Repeat as needed to add multiple group members to the same Work Order.
