# Understanding the Yellow Message: "The Invoice Currently Has a Total of $0" When Generating an Invoice
## Explaining the "Invoice total of $0" message and why it's a normal part of fully paid invoices.

Some of our customers have seen a message highlighted in yellow that says, "The invoice currently has a total of $0." when generating invoice for their customers. In this article, we're going to explain why this message shows up and what it means, so our customers can feel more at ease.
### **Understanding the Message**
When you're creating an invoice for a customer and you come across a yellow-highlighted message that reads, "The invoice currently has a total of $0," there's no need to be concerned. This message is meant to let you know that everything is alright. It's not a mistake; it's actually there to show that the invoice has been completely paid off, and the customer isn't being charged anything.
The reason this yellow message appears is because the total amount of the invoice is exactly $0. This usually happens when the customer has already paid the entire invoice amount. So, since there's no remaining balance, the message appears to indicate this positive situation.
