Why are Some Phone Numbers in the Work Order Not Hyperlinked?

Sometimes the phone number in the Work Order doesn't become a hyperlink.

 

Cause

This issue typically occurs when the phone number is not entered in a recognizable format. If the number lacks parentheses or dashes, it may not be identified as a valid phone number and therefore won't be converted into a clickable link.

Solution

To ensure phone numbers become hyperlinks, format them using any of the following styles:

• (306) 457 689

• 306-457-689

• (306) 457-689

When numbers are entered in these formats, the system will recognize them and automatically generate a hyperlink.

Conclusion

If phone numbers aren't hyperlinking in Work Orders, it's likely due to formatting. Use parentheses, dashes, or a combination of both to ensure the number is recognized and linked correctly.
