Why does the invoice show in ServiceBox but not in QuickBooks? - FAQ
How to Resolve Missing Invoices in QuickBooks After a ServiceBox Sync
Issue
An invoice appears in ServiceBox but is missing in QuickBooks, and no errors occurred during syncing.
Cause
Invoices only sync to QuickBooks if their status in ServiceBox is set to "Export to Accounting." If an invoice has a status that is not flagged for export, it will remain in ServiceBox and not transfer to QuickBooks—even if the sync runs without error.
Solution
-
Go to Settings in ServiceBox.
-
Click on the Invoices tab.
-
Select Invoice Statuses to view all statuses and their current sync settings.
-
Review which statuses have Export to Accounting set to No.
-
If your invoice is using one of these statuses, click Edit next to that status.
-
Check the box labeled Export to Accounting and save your changes.
Once this is updated, invoices with that status will be included in the next sync with QuickBooks.
