Will the schedule change if Work Order is completed sooner?
Work Orders won't auto-reschedule if started early, but their status and activity will update visibly.
If I have a job scheduled for Friday at 10am, but open the work order and do it today, I can edit and close the work order—but it is still in the calendar scheduled for Friday. Can it automatically move in the calendar to when it was actually done?
In the calendar, the job will not automatically move to the new time unless you manually change the scheduled times applied to the Work Order. However, if the Work Order is closed earlier than scheduled, it will appear grayed out in the background of the calendar to indicate its closed status.
If technicians use the Check In and Check Out features, you can still see when they were on-site—even if it doesn’t match the originally scheduled time.
