# Your Personal ServiceBox "My Preferences" Settings
## Setting your default home screen in ServiceBox
### Summary
In ServiceBox, each user can customize their default home screen view to better match their daily workflow. This is especially useful for distinguishing between Admin users and Basic users (technicians), depending on their needs.
### Choosing Your Default Home Screen
Admin Users often set their default screen to display the **Work Order** menu immediately upon logging in, allowing quick access to job management tools.
Basic Users or technicians typically set their default screen to the **Calendar** view so they can instantly see the work orders scheduled for them that day.
To change your home screen preference:
1. On a desktop or laptop, hover your mouse over your login name in the upper-right corner of the browser screen.
2. From the dropdown, click **My Preferences**.
3. On the **My Preferences** page, find the **Home Screen** dropdown menu.
4. Click the dropdown and select the screen you want to appear each time you log in.
