Setting your default home screen and Help button position in ServiceBox

Summary

In ServiceBox, each user can customize their default home screen view to better match their daily workflow. This is especially useful for distinguishing between Admin users and Basic users (technicians), depending on their needs.

Choosing Your Default Home Screen

Admin Users often set their default screen to display the Work Order menu immediately upon logging in, allowing quick access to job management tools.

Basic Users or technicians typically set their default screen to the Calendar view so they can instantly see the work orders scheduled for them that day.

To change your home screen preference:

  1. On a desktop or laptop, hover your mouse over your login name in the upper-right corner of the browser screen.

  2. From the dropdown, click My Preferences.

  3. On the My Preferences page, find the Home Screen dropdown menu.

  4. Click the dropdown and select the screen you want to appear each time you log in.

 

Adjusting the Help Button Position

If you prefer the Help button to appear in the lower-right corner of the screen instead of the lower-left, simply:

  • Check the box labeled Move Help button to right-hand side within the My Preferences page.
